Less than an hour now until the start of the English Premier League season and I thought of another game for me to play.

“The Intelligent Soccer EPL Betting Challenge.”

This is how it works…

I put $50 in my (make believe ) internet betting account.

Every week I bet $10 on three Premiership matches. No parlays or betting over\under — must bet for a team to win or bet the draw.

How long can I last? If I get to October I’d be stoked.

So here are my Week 1 picks:

Aston Villa (-166)
Chelsea (-714)
Manchester United (-625)

Balance: $20 ($50 when counting money in play)

Trying to build some momentum .

I know it’s too late for this week, but I hope people play along with me as the season goes on.
